PerfectRota is made by a small team at Sweetbyte Ltd in the UK.

We’ve worked on the shop floor, and we’ve watched managers build the rota on paper or in a spreadsheet, then rebuild it every time someone is off sick, books a holiday or changes the days they can work. It takes hours, every week, and it’s hours that should go on the team and the customers.

So we built PerfectRota to do the fiddly part. You tell it your stores, your shifts and your people once. It builds the week, keeps keyholders where they’re needed, meets contract hours, works around holiday and sickness, and shows you the wage cost before you publish.

Tested by someone who’s done the job

Before launch, we put PerfectRota in front of a store manager with more than 30 years’ experience running a large store. He said it worked better than the custom system he’d used, and changed the rota quicker when someone’s days changed. A lot of what’s in PerfectRota today came from his feedback.

What we care about

• Simple to set up. Five short steps, or start from sample data.
